Rooted in vintage rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Aerosmith, Hollywood rock band Inside The Black brings a fresh, yet timeless take on rock music.
With an independent debut album release under their belts, and even a song covered by Hollywood nubile Leighton Meester ("Gossip Girl"), Inside The Black is currently beating up an album's worth of material on stage, and entered the studio in November, 2010, to begin work on their long-awaited follow-up release. Their first new single, "Leave It All Behind," releases on April 29, 2011.
The band has performed throughout the Los Angeles area in such infamous venues as the Whisky A Go Go, Viper Room, Key Club, Cat Club, Dragonfly, and the Cobalt Café. They kicked off the 2010 Sunset Strip Music Festival with Y&T at the Key Club and rang in 2011 with Vains of Jenna at the Whisky A Go Go.
In January 2011, they opened up the encore John Bonham tribute show, Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same, which featured some of rock's most famous drummers such as Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Briian Tichy (Billy Idol, Whitesnake).
Inside The Black will also be featured on the upcoming soundtrack to Heavy Metal magazine's first digital comic, Gates, to be released in July,2011.
